Gout is a type of arthritis and affect thousands each year. It is very painful and can halt a person’s daily routine consuming their attention and energy.
Gout is caused by uric acid crystals getting caught up in joint areas of the body. This causes swelling and pain that is associated with gout.
What is fortunate is that gout is curable. There are many options out there for those who suffer from gout such as prescription drugs or surgery. Many however, are resorting to home remedies which has been shown to work very if not most, effectively. It is preferable since it is less invasive and doesn’t involve taking any artificial drugs.
Cherries have been noted by many to greatly lessen the pain that comes with gout. They also believe it lessens the swelling associated with gout. Although there have been no scientific stakes made at these claims, there are thousands who use cherries to treat gout.
No real argument there, as the testimonies of cherrys effectiveness as a cure for gout comes from gout patients themselves.
Another home remedy claimed to help cure gout is charcoal. Charcoal is known to draw toxins away from the body. With this in mind, a charcoal bath has been said to be effective in treating gout.
As most gout, if not all, conditions start with the big toe or toes, one could soak ones foot, or both ones feet in a charcoal concoction, made of half a cup of charcoal powder and water, mixed to a pasty consistency. By then, one could gradually add hot water, while ones foot is submerged in the mix. Soaking ones foot in this mixture for about thirty to sixty minutes is known to greatly benefit gout conditions.
These are just two of the many home remedies for gout. These two have been said by many to help reduce the pain and swelling of gout drastically as well as hurry the healing process.
